Description | The annual display by the Royal Air Force at Hendon Aerodrome always attracted large crowds. Dora Batty's elegant poster design promotes the modernity of the event, which was served by Colindale Underground station. Batty was one of the most prolific female artists to work for the Underground. She designed more than 60 posters during the 1920s and 30s. |
